Anyone who keeps in regular touch with me, knows that for the last few weeks I was traveling due to the loss of a friend. This trip was as could be expected exhausting. Returning home was a very welcome relief, nothing like sitting in ones own chair drinking a cold beer after being on the road.. Now that I am back, I have been re-prioritizing some projects here. One of which was to get the blog online and start posting.

For anyone who is not already aware, I am the CEO of Transparent Technologies, Inc. Along with my duties here, I regularly attend and participate in the Real Estate Transaction Standards Meetings. I am currently involved with 3 RETS work groups: governance, technical review, and compliance. I have also been invited to speak in the past to the NAR’s “Internet Strategy/Workgroup Working Group” and to help them better understand the use of innovative technology in the industry.

Transparent Technologies, is the home to Open-Realty a free open source web based listing management application. Along with our corporate partners we have released a number of commercial add-ons for Open-Realty. This blog will be home to updates on all of our applications as well as general real estate technology commentary.
