We have been working on a new release of TransparentMaps, which we plan on release in the next 1-2 weeks. We have had a lot of feedback from customers on the previous releases, and have tried to accommodate a number of customer requests into this release.  I thought I would take some time to talk about some of the exciting new features planned for this upcoming release.

This upcoming release will have support for defining the default map types, support for Google 3d satellite maps, terrain maps, map directions, Google Local Search, Google Street View, along with the ability to configure options like scroll wheel zooming.

We are also working on the ability to place multiple maps on a single page. For example, you will be able to place an individual map of each property on the search result page. Finally we have been working on allowing user to place custom overlays on the maps.

We also recently solved a outstanding issue with the tabbed listing detail pages in Open-Realty causing problems with the maps rendering correctly. Current TransparentMaps users wishing to use the tabbed listing detail page can download the fix from the TransparentMaps knowledgebase. .
